Current projects include the long-running RTS-winning political satire Callan Kicks The Year and the viral sketch show No Worries If Not.
It is the production company of James Cotter, the RTS, Broadcast and IFTA-winning filmmaker behind genre-bending programmes including Republic of Telly, Zen Motoring, The Rubberbandits’ Guides and Blindboy Undestroys. Wonky Chair’s first feature film, Bible Black, shoots in 2026.
Connla’s Well Productions, founded by Blindboy Boatclub and James Cotter, makes bold, distinctive work across comedy, drama and factual. Its first two productions were the RTS-winning Did You Read About Erskine Fogarty? and the Grierson Award-winning Blindboy: The Land of Slaves & Scholars.
Both companies are expanding their slates, with drama, feature documentary, podcast and film projects currently in development.
